The Boombox team is brought together by a shared belief that when we start from a place of understanding, we can drive progress and inspire action. Our team of innovative marketers and visionary creatives work together to not only make a positive impact for our clients, but for the world around us. We actively engage in initiatives that support meaningful social causes and promote diversity in all aspects of our work. We tell stories informed by lived experiences across identities, cultures, and perspectives. And together, we unite the varied voices of our team members on one frequency—one that rings clear and true.
From the beginning of our careers, we have believed in the power of storytelling to change the world, and we have recognized the value of hearing a diverse set of voices.
Engaging with non-profits has been integral in our personal journeys toward creating Boombox. Tom Whitman served in leadership positions on the Board of Directors of AIDS Project Los Angeles for 12 years, the Global Forum on MSM and HIV for 10 years, and on the Board of GLAAD for 4 years. Dustin Woehrmann has served on the boards of Halloween New Orleans and the Gulf South LGBTQ Chamber, and has worked with non-profits including Habitat for Humanity, the Point Foundation and others.
We have worked on inclusive/diversity and cause marketing with clients including Hilton, New Orleans & Co, Gilead, Lufthansa, American Express, General Motors, Oatly, Clinique, the Los Angeles Dodgers, Google and others.
