Powering the Hiscox Brand through Courageous Partnerships

Hiscox Small Business insurance challenged Boombox with driving national brand exposure and reinforcing its “Encourage Courage” campaign aimed at helping small business owners. In response, we developed a partnership between Hiscox and Tough Mudder that we brought to life on-site and through digital storytelling.​

After we identified, negotiated, and activated the national Tough Mudder sponsorship​, we produced and distributed courage-centric digital content​ that captured the courageous spirit of both brands. We also created and activated a set of courage-themed assets at Tough Mudder obstacle course events, including: The Courage Zone, an on-course, Hiscox-branded area through which every participant passed in before taking on their next challenge; an interactive photo opportunity within Mudder Village; and a Courageous Adventure sweepstakes.​

This heroic partnership effectively boosted brand awareness and affinity​, increased consumer engagement through incremental exposure​, and generated small business leads and connections in key verticals​.
