Helping the Dodgers Hit a Home Run for LGBTQ+ Inclusivity

The Los Angeles Dodgers wanted to go beyond words and create a lasting connection with the LGBTQ+ community—so Boombox stepped up to the plate with a solution that sent a powerful message of inclusivity.

The first-ever LGBTQ+ Night Out at Dodger Stadium wasn’t just about a single game; it was the start of a long-term commitment. From crafting a welcoming brand identity to strategizing across social media, influencer outreach, and community engagement, Boombox ensured the LGBTQ+ community felt seen and celebrated.

We programmed the first pitches with Billy Bean and Jason Collins, and we brought out Amber Patrice Riley from FOX’s “Glee” to sing the national anthem backed by the Gay Men’s Chorus of Los Angeles. A prominent LGBTQ+ DJ also mixed the fireworks show for even more queer representation.
